One lived, one died, both were left Alone.

Thai directors Banjong Pisanthanakun and Parkpoom Wongpoom made box office splashes throughout Asia in 2004 with the acclaimed Shutter. The up-and-coming directing duo returns in 2007 with their new horror offering, Alone. Continuing with the chilling scares, eerie aesthetics, and sensitive storytelling set forth in Shutter, Alone revolves around a pair of Siamese twins for whom tragedy begets horror. Popular Thai-German singer/actress Marsha Wattanapanich makes her first film appearance in 15 years. Taking on two roles, she subtly brings out the fragile and frightening relationship between the two sisters.

Siamese twin sisters Pim and Ploy spent the first 15 years of their lives joined at the waist, sharing every moment and memory together. As children, they promised each other they would never separate. Adolescent Pim (Hatairat Egereff), however, realizes that she needs her own life and insists on a separation procedure against Ploy's (Rutairat Egereff) wishes. In the end, only Pim survives the operation. Determined to continue with her life, Pim (Marsha Wattanapanich) grows up, moves to the city, and finds love. When sudden news of her mother's illness brings her back to her eerie childhood home, she is forced to face the dark remnants of her past and the anguished sister she left behind.

Thai action cinema, famous for its hard-boiled action scenes, is gaining much momentum in the international arena in recent years. The trend probably started in 2003 with Tony Jaa. 2005 saw the release of The Tiger Blade, which may have a greater sense of humor than Tony Jaa's Ong Bak, and promises to be just as entertaining. Basically a cop movie, The Tiger Blade is filled with spectacular actions to keep the audience engaged. Handsome action actor Asadawut Luangsuntorn makes his silver-screen debut in The Tiger Blade, together with hot and sexy actresses.

Yosthana (Asadawut Luangsuntorn), a young maverick cop with mystical powers, is sent to investigate a highly volatile case. He teams up with the charming Duangdao who will go through some thrilling battles with Yosthana. He needs to find The Tiger Blade, a magical sword embodying the powers of nature, so as to defeat Mahesak, his brutal and deadly enemy who lead the terrible "Five Bullets Bandit". Can Yosthana combat Mahesak and survive in the end?
