Jade Valerie - Out of the Box (Korea Version)

Jade Valerie, the former lead vocalist and songwriter of popular pop band Sweetbox, declares independence with her first solo release Out of the Box. In her new album, Jade marks a new chapter in her career, collaborating with producer GEO, the mastermind behind Sweetbox whose list of hits include Don't Push Me, Life Is Cool, and Cinderella. The album is highlighted by tracks like Just Another Day; Uh Lala, which already gained popularity in a television commercial in Korea; and Crush, a solo version of an earlier duet hit that featured Korea's own diva Baek Ji Young. Not to disappoint any K-pop fans, Jade offers yet another beautiful duet You Don't Know Me featuring Shinhwa's Kim Dong Wan.

스위트박스의 프론트 우먼이자 송라이터였던 제이드가 자신의 이름을 걸고 새 앨범을 발표한다. 4월 22일에 발표되는 그녀의 데뷔작 [Out Of The Box]는 오랫동안 그녀와 함께 “Don’t Push Me”, “Life Is Cool”, “Cinderella” 등 스위트박스의 모든 히트곡들을 함께 만들고 프로듀싱 해 온 핵심 인물 GEO가 함께 한 결과물임과 동시에 이들 콤비가 3년만에 내놓는 신작이다. 새로운 출발을 알리는 첫번째 싱글 “Just Another Day” 외에도 제이드와 GEO의 장기라 할 수 있는 경쾌한 비트와 달콤한 멜로디가 혼합된 두번째 싱글 “You Don’t Know Me”, 앨범이 발매되기도 전에 국내 네비게이션 TV 광고에 삽입된 “Uh Lala”, 백지영과 듀엣으로 선보였던 히트곡 “Crush”의 솔로 버전, 그리고 “Like A Bird”, “The Last”, “Razoman”등 앨범 전 수록 곡들이 국내 히트 예상곡이라 해도 과언이 아니다. 백지영과의 듀엣 “Crush”의 뒤를 잇는, 김동완과의 듀엣곡 “You Don’t Know Me”는 앨범 발매 직전에 공개될 예정이어서 팬들의 관심을 더하고 있다.
