Starring Zaizen Naomi, Naito Tsuyoshi, and Suzuki Sarina, 2000 TBS suspense drama Quiz revolves around a kidnapping case that begins with a cryptic note. Street-smart female detective Kiriko Kaoru (Zaizen Naomi) is called in to lead the investigation. Tough and intelligent, Kiriko matches wit with the kidnapper as she weaves through a trail of clues and riddles, but the answer just eludes her at every increasingly dangerous twist and turn. The kidnapper seems to know the police better than they do, and his next target may be Kiriko.
