Directed by New Year's comedy master Clifton Ko, City Squeeze (1989) is a hilarious urban comedy about adultery gone wrong. Late icons Jim Wong and Lydia Shum and screen idols Kenny Bee and Elizabeth Lee Mei Fung star in this quintessential 80s comedy. City Squeeze's characters and situations should be plenty familiar with Jim Wong playing the middle-aged man looking for an affair, and Lydia Shum embodying the domineering wife with characteristic zest. Workplace sparks and homelife spars lead to laughs and more laughs as romance comes for some and goes for others!

Wong (Kenny Bee) works in mid-level management at Yau's (Jim Wong) company. His greatest desire is to get recruited by headhunters so he can leave his frustrating job. Yau himself isn't much better off as ultimate power lies in the hands of his portly, wealthy wife (Lydia Shum) whom Yau relied on to finance his company. While on a factory inspection, Yau falls head over heels for beautiful receptionist Fung (Elizabeth Lee). Disgruntled with her job, Fung agrees to date Yau who arranges a position for her at his office. Fung's presence raises a minor storm in the workplace, and it's not soon before Wong and Fung are happily batting eyes at each other. But what happens when everyone's relationships are revealed?

王小強(鍾鎮濤飾)是尤(黃霑飾)公司部鬥主管，但受眾人之氣，常期望一天能有獵頭公司賞識。尤靠老婆肥(沈殿霞飾)發達，經濟掌握在肥之手，肥對尤管教甚嚴。一日，尤工廠遇到一女接待員阿鳳，驚為天人，即安排約會。鳳因對工作環境不滿，最終答應尤的安排。

尤公司的男員工唾涎鳳的美貌，對其大獻殷勤。王也對鳳一見鍾情，尤對鳳受歡迎感到惱火。尤多次製造機會想與鳳獨處，最終都陰差陽錯地讓王與鳳相處，當王與鳳兩人情愫生之際，王得知鳳為尤的情人，拂袖而去。而肥亦發現尤對鳳的用心，將其趕出家門……

Wong is a Department Head at Yau's film. Tough a supervisor, he is often taken advantage by his changes because of his integrity and timidity. Yau has struck rich because of his wife's wealth. One day on an inspection tour, her's stunned by a receptionist, Fung. He then begins to date her. Most of the male staff in the firm is interested in Fung. Including Wong. But the doesn't have the courage to approach her. Every time when Yau plans to date Fung, he offers Wong a chance to be with fung in a curious coincldence. When Wong and Fung fall in love with eeach other, Wong finds out fung is Yau's mistress while Yau's wife also knows it and kicks the husband out the house....
