The lights are shining bright for singer-songwriter Otsuka Ai, as she is already up to her fourth release of the year. Her first single of 2007, Chu-Lip, made it to the No. 3 spot on the Oricon charts, while her chart-topping compilation album Ai am Best has become her best-selling title to date. Otsuki Ai has also found time to go on a nationwide concert tour, and release the single Love no Theme as LOVE, her self-created rabbit alter ego.

Now, fresh from her "Ai am Best Tour", she keeps moving forward with her 15th single, which comes as the double A-side Peach/Heart. Peach is a fun and upbeat track that goes perfectly with the summer atmosphere. This song will be featured in the new Fuji TV youth drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e starring Horikita Maki and Oguri Shun. Heart, meanwhile, is a mellow, mid-tempo number with a touch of melancholy. This release also comes with a new version of her 2006 single Renai Shashin ("Love Photograph").

Ai's is back! After Chu-Lip, I was worried about this single. However, I have heard both "HEART" and "PEACH"...I must say, I'm very impressed and reminded of earlier releases like "Frienger" and "Renai Shashin"! Her vocals are beautiful on the ballad especially. Both are sweet -n- happy songs and will put you in a summer mood. The upbeat track, especially, will have you cruising down the road at full speed on a sunny day while singing along.

Truly a memorable and original single from Miss Otsuka. Desperate for a unique sound? Pop this CD into your player and give it a try! I love both songs and I'm sure the PVs will both be promising as well. I rank this single a perfect 10; up there with her hit singles like "SMILY/Biidama" and "Neko ni Fuusen"! Truly astonishing. Ai has not lost her charm nor her creative ideas.

For first time Ai-listeners, let this be your first impression. For Ai-haters, listen to it...it's impossible to dislike!

I'd recommend this summer single over all others; there's no flaws whatsoever...it's just perfection.
