"It looks simple and beautiful." That was my first impressions when I took it out of the box. I must agreed that it feels well balanced and light. This model it at least half the depth of my SE-Z710i.

Yes it does slide open with ease with the grip of the sleekness of rubber textured backing and the curved contour ending. Upon opening the mobile you see the true beauty of the phone. Revealing a steel leaf green coloured keypad and hidden camera on the opposite side.

The keypad is exactly the way I like it, it has the clicking feeling when you push the buttons and it glows an ultra bright white which you can even see in a well lit room. This particular model does have the kanji with english text on the keypad which is expected from the description of the phone, but I think it just adds a flavoursome touch to it.

I've only seen the basic light effect while the mobile was off and charging, honestly I wasn't expected quite a large effect. You can easily see it also while the screen is slid down too. It just makes you want to place it on a table so everyone can see it.

The only issue I can see about it so far that I didn't like was the memory card cover on the top. It doesn't exactly say in the instuctions how to safely lift or remove it. After gently opening it and closing it again, I thought to myself that I don't ever want to open it again. I could see it bending or snapping off if I was to frequently changed cards.

All in all this is a wonder stylish peice of technology that should be flaunted when people are around you. I would of gave it a pysical 10 out of 10 if the memory card cover wasn't so flimsy.

So if you are thinking of purchasing this product you can be confident in yourself that you are getting an eye turner!

I didnt have any problem with my keypad
The sound quality is really perfect even Better than W series ! u can test it
the design , colour ,themes are fantastic !
really better than its Picz !

Just got this a few days back, and agree with most about size, ha it looks bigger online then in person. This isnt a complaint though, it fits perfect in my pocket almost to the point that i dont even know its there. As for the phones features, true its not as up to date as some of the other featured sony phones, but i think this is really due to the size. Its the same size as my s710 from sony, but 1/4 the thickness. The camera works well without the auto focus, and the night mode is actually pretty decent. This phone is packed with all the cool sony goodies like the video editor, picture and sound dj's, and was just added to sonys theme editor. I say give it time before the theme editor will have full support to change things like the everchanging theme allows, seasons, day and night and menu systems. I heard acouple people asking about the menu changing icons and such, and yes the menu icons are all changable based on the theme. Everchanging uses a completely different set of icons with special effects. The night and day changes the format to a straight line of icons that increase size when hovered, kind of like a media center design. Ive owned sony ericsson phones for about 6 years now, and this one did not let me down at all. It will be awesome when we can edit what the phone changes during the night an day and seasons!!! The over the air phone updates is also great!
