「寒風蕭蕭，飛雪飄零」，改編自金庸武俠大劇的《雪山飛狐》，雖然並不是金庸所有武俠作品中知名度最高的一部，但多年來是各電視台均有其翻拍版本，如1985年有TVB呂良偉及周秀蘭的版本，至2006年由王晶、劉偉強分別擔任監制和總導演，而聶遠、朱茵將扮演新版胡斐、袁紫衣。除了聶遠、朱茵以外，在新版《雪山飛狐》中，日港台巨星如鐘欣桐、方中信、黃秋生、安以軒、范冰冰也將在劇中扮演角色。

在談到為何選擇拍攝本劇時，王晶表示，他將會拍出胡斐和三個女孩的感情，甚至書中關於胡斐最後那一刀，王晶也會給觀眾有一個答案。《雪山飛狐》的劇情非常豐富，當中更涉及了家族情仇和恩怨愛恨。胡一刀和胡斐父子兩代與苗人鳳的恩怨、胡斐與苗人鳳在雪山堡上的生死戰、以及苗人鳳與南蘭，胡斐與袁紫衣、程靈素、苗若蘭等人令人悵惘無奈的感情，都令觀眾印象深刻，難以忘懷。

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING????? 顧客評分為 2 - 2 (十分為滿分)
What were they thinking when Wong Jing made this series, this is a TERRIBLE representation of Mr. Jing Yong's work. The story line went nowhere in this series when it didn't follow the story line of the novel. I totally agree with some of the other buyers on this website, if you are planning to purchase this series, Please DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, I didn't really belive them then, I do now after I watched it. As for casts, Gillian is hot and did all she can to match ger character, Athena is a bit too old for hers, and Miu Yan Fong is good, but whatsup with the hair??? As for Hui Fe, I didn't see or feel any signs of hero in him, Hui Fe in the novel is ten times better.

This is not "Fox Volant Of The Snowy Mountain" by Jing Yong, definately not, it should be call "Flying Worm Of The Snowy Mountain" by Wong Jing. This production is an insult to fans of Mr Jing Yong,the director Mr. Wong Jing, a nine graded director trying too much.I really beg you never never ever touch any Mr Jing Yong's novel any more,I nearly vomitted blood from the watching this series,it was so bad and it did not respect the work of the author, it is a total different story from the one we knew, Mr.Wong since you are so bloody smart,why don't you use your name rather Mr. Jing Yong's name on the label. Don't buy this series it is a waste of your precious money, I promise myself I will never buy any more production with the name Wong Jing on it.

 Another piece of trash from WJ 顧客評分為 0 - 0 (十分為滿分)
If you've read the novels, don't expect a faithful or even decent adaptation. If you're familiar w/ the producer's work, do expect the usual sappy melodrama, cheap thrills, and illogical plots. Most of the main characters are miscast; Athena's character should have been played by Gillian whereas in the novel, Gillian's character is just a ordinary looking, diminutive girl that can be played by just about anyone. If you're in North America, save your money and wait for it to be broadcasted on Chinese TV channels, which is currently airing another bad Jin Yong remake (Return of the Condor Heroes 06).
